Welcome! Geneva Academic Foundation

The Geneva Academic Foundation (GAF) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that raises money each year to fund grants for the purchase of equipment, tools, programs and services for our teachers and classrooms throughout the Geneva Community School District #304 (grades K-12), as well as two annual scholarships for graduating Seniors from Geneva High School.   The grants funded each year must enhance the educational experience of the students in District #304.

GAF has awarded over $1.3M in grants since the founding of the GAF in 1987.  Grants have been given for GTV television studio equipment in Geneva High School, heart-rate monitors for the elementary school P. E. classes, multiple classroom Smartboards and standing desks, computers, software, document cameras, Starlab, microscopes, skeletons, books, reading aids, and many other items. See our list under Grants.

Grants
Where does the GAF grant money come from? The money that GAF uses to fund the grant applications comes from donations by community members and fundraisers that GAF holds each year.

Scholarships
Each year, the Geneva Academic Foundation gives two $1000 scholarships based on an application process to graduating seniors in the Geneva High School.
