Scholarships & Bencini Memorial Grants

In addition, the Geneva Academic Foundation (GAF) funds two college scholarships for two Geneva High School seniors. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and an essay written by the student. The scholarship amounts are being raised in 2014 to $1000 each (up from $500 in the past). Scholarship applications are available to download through the Geneva High School Counseling Office Naviance system.

On April 7, 2012, the Geneva community and GAF lost a local treasure with the passing of Mary Hogan Bencini. Mary had been a passionate supporter of all things Geneva, but especially Geneva schools. In her honor, GAF renamed the GAF Teacher Grants as the ''Bencini Memorial Grants'.
